Coastal Plants

All the plants in the main garden area of the Marine Information Centre grow in coastal Taranaki. Most are found only in New Zealand, and some grow only in a very restricted range.

Main garden area: planted 19 June 2012. These plants were grown by Moturoa School in their propagation unit, with Bill Clarkson’s help.
